Welcome to DiscoverSayville.com, a site devoted to exposing the creative, passionate and truly unique hamlet of Long Island's south shore. Discover Sayville is not only for promoting events and local businesses. This website is the voice and vision of two residents who wanted to give back to a community that has given them so much. To them, details are everything. The site's goal is to reveal those details that we may take for granted and show the rest of the world why Sayville is America's friendliest town. From the streets, once paved of clams shells, to the sandy beaches, beautiful parks, one of a kind shops and some of the finest dining Long Island has to offer—this is one town that should not go unnoticed. Just because we're a small town, our designs and ideas don't have to be.
The Founders
Frank and Rob met at their first job in a local shop on Main Street at the age of fourteen. The two never looked back and are currently working together at an interactive agency in New York City while continuously maintaining their own personal business on the side.

Frank Calise
I began coding in middle school trying to mimic my greatest role model, my father. From there, I never looked back and embraced new programming languages throughout my academic career. My undergrad degree is in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Computer Science at NYU-Poly. In addition to writing code, I enjoy an intense workout in the gym, a fine meal, and soccer.

Rob Van Wyen
From the first day I stepped foot on the field at age five, I knew I loved soccer. Ironically, the sport lead me on a path to what has become the other passion in my life: design. With an injury leaving me off my feet for sixteen weeks, I made use of my newfound free time by learning as much about design as I possibly could. From there, I received a BFA in Graphic Design at SUNY New Paltz and continuously combine the passions of my life to create award winning work.
