living in the Bronx, my mother would get meat cakes from the local deli. I can still remember how wonderful they tasted. I must go back and ask Paul if he can make meat cakes. I bet he can.
Paul's has a great commitment to the community. He says he is here to stay in Sayville. He loves the community and the surrounding towns. This is his home. Paul would like to start something called "Charity Sunday." He has an unbelievable offer for worthy organizations trying to raise funds. He will donate 10% of his register for the day and offer a gift certificate for a three foot hero with all the fixings which will be raffled off at the end of the day. Contact Paul for the full details for your organization.
In the nice weather you can sit outside in front or in the side courtyard and, of course, there is seating inside. He also has a high chair for the little one. This is definitely a place to bring the kids. They will never say "there's nothing to eat" in Paul's kitchen.
When you drop in, look for Paul, he's hard to miss. He's big, he's bald and oh, did I mention he sings? He has a karaoke machine behind the counter and is not shy about performing. He serenaded us out the door on our first night to the tune of "Mack the Knife." I wonder if he takes special requests. I bet he does.
