The Cull House originally opened in Blue Point in 1977 and transferred to its present location in Sayville in 1983. It is the kind of treasure that brings out the selfish side of a person. One hesitates to recommend it to friends for fear that it will become so popular that one won't be able to get a table. The restaurant has a number of different atmospheres. Three rooms inside, one with a long, lively, copper-topped bar at which one can also eat, a screen porch, a screened room and three tables outside on the patio. It seats 74 in the summertime. The place has definite charm, the fish - its staple - is invariably and absolutely fresh and the prices are very reasonable.
