Say What? Say...ville Staying put is a syndrome in Sayville, Long Island. Residents of Sayville seem to cherish the hamlet's bustling, homey and pleasantly retro downtown of more than 60 pedestrian-scale stores, restaurants and one-of-a-kind shops. Its baymen, a nearly vanished breed of shellfishermen, and its long marine history are celebrated at the Long Island Maritime Museum in adjoining West Sayville.
Sayville is known as one of the most beautiful and desirable communities on Long Island.
